Fremantle Prison

The old Fremantle Prison, formerly the Convict Establishment, is now Western Australia's only World Heritage Site.
George Cooke Attfield (1826-1925) served as Medical Officer to the Establishment from 1857 until 1879. His sister, Emily Anne Attfield, married Robert Young (1822-1901) who served as Superintendant of Stores at the Convict Establishment from 1869 until 1869.
