Donald Harvey Attfield (1866-1908)

Dr. Donald Harvey Attfield, the son of Professor John Attfield, served as a medical officer in Egypt and subsequently as Medical Officer of Health for Watford. He married Elsa, the daughter of Sir Hubert von Herkomer, in 1899.
     The photograph is from the frontispiece of his "Private Journal in Egypt, May 1894 to May 1895" (printed for private circulation by Spottiswoode & Co., London, 1895).
