John Septimus Roe (1797-1878)

The Surveyor-General of Western Australia from 1828 until 1870, John Septimus Roe was one of the first explorers and surveyors of the colony. His daughter Alice Maude Roe (1845-1925) married George Cooke Attfield in 1863.
